I am so god damn disappointed in humanity right now it isn’t even funny. We accept, without question, the oversexualization of women in advertising to the fucking point that we are turned into objects. Not people, but god damn THINGS. Look at this shit!

This is the shit we see every day, and we’re totally cool with that. As some would say “It’s just fun advertising”. It’s not like dehumanization is harmful. It’s all in “good fun”. Or, as a fucking genius said in one of the reblogs of my last post “who gives a fuck? this is why nothing gets solved in the world, people are too busy arguing about tits”. Yeah, sexism is so not important, it’s time to move on guys!

Those images should be offensive to you. You want to know why? If society views you as a woman, this is what they think of you. You are not a person, you are an object. You are not personally exempt from advertising. Whether you like it or not, this is affects you just as much as it does me.

It affects you so much, that if you are a woman and you decide to have a child and you decide to breastfeed said child, this is the type of attitude you will face.

um consider me old school but i wouldnt be flipping my titty out in the middle of class either. very (dare i say) ghetto i mean REALLY????? i mean if the girl had any class about herself (or even effing privacy about her own body parts) she would have pumped like three bottles while doing homework last night, heated them up on the stove while getting ready for school that morning, and then either put them in a heat conserving bag or a gallon sized ziplock with a hot and cold pack in it. i mean there is a way to take care of your child and juggle priorities without being so unrefined (but i forgot along with chivalry i guess being polished, modest, and attempting the slightest of public etiquette died too huh?)

I am all for the support of women breastfeeding, but I mean she could at least cover herself up with a blanket or something.
A baby needs to eat when it needs too, but I mean she is in public and it wouldn’t hurt anyone for her to be a little modest and have a blanket covering her.

I saw a woman with a brand new baby, which is cool,  except that about 20 feet from the register she flopped her massive tit out (this chick is like a good 300 lbs), and started nursing her baby as she waddled around the store.
Listen, there’s no problem with nursing in public, but please use a little common courtesy and stop being so goddamn fat.

All of those quotes are real. Do a google search with the term “nursing in public” and you will see this attitude everywhere. Use your tits in a sexual way, no one gives a shit. Companies photoshop the hell out of pictures to make tits look larger, no one gives a shit. Said companies use photoshopped pictures for advertisements that turn people into objects, no one gives a shit. Breastfeed in public, CALL THE NATIONAL GUARD!!! OMG HER TITS ARE OUT!!!!1! HOW WILL I EXPLAIN THIS TO MY CHILDREN?!?! COVER THAT SHIT UP, NO ONE WANTS TO SEE THAT!!!1!11 THAT’S JUST DISGUSTING!!!!

What the fuck is wrong with you people?

Which one of these pictures is more offensive to you? If your answer is the picture of a baby being breastfed, it’s time to seriously think about your priorities.

So, according to evenflo breastfeeding is uncomfortable, inconvenient and just plain embarrassing. Also, when your inlaws nag you about feeding your baby, YOU MUST OBEY!

Queer Porn Star Accused of Pedophilia for Breastfeeding Baby
By Diane Anderson-Minshall
Weeks after queer porn star Madison Young had her baby, she created an art exhibit titled “Becoming MILF.” The concept, according to Jezebel.com, was to explore how Young now embodies a contradiction, the dichotomy to end all dichotomies — that of the Madonna and the whore. At the show’s opening, she served up self-made breast-milk shakes and displayed a baby quilt made of burp cloths and porn star panties. Turns out not every feminist porn star agrees. According to Salon.com, a series of sex worker Twitter wars ensued, the controversy tapping into “culture-wide mommy issues.”
Porn star Furry Girl (who is known for her, um, stage name–like features) criticized Young for publicly breast-feeding, tweeting that only “creeps and pedophiles” are interested in seeing a porn star breast-feed and insinuated that exposing her child to such an audience was abusive. Girl called Young a “a revolting person” and dubbed her defenders “baby fetishists” and “pedos.”
Of course Young (née Tina Butcher) is already a well-known feminist porn star, director, author, and the founder of Femina Potens, an ever-evolving, queer and trans nonprofit gallery and performance space in California that the San Francisco Chronicle calls “the most happening art space in the city; a revolution in art and sex.” She’s curated the gallery for years, mixing envelope-pushing women’s sexuality exhibitions and spoken word shows from lesbians like Annie Sprinkle with less kinky feminist projects from literati like Michelle Tea. Young’s shown up on such outlets as IFC and the History Channel and in MSNBC’s Brian Alexander’s book America Unzipped, which has a whole chapter on her art and work.
So what was this controversial display of pedophilia that Furry Girl imagines? According to Salon, Young posed for a black-and-white photograph dressed up like Marilyn Monroe while clutching her daughter to her bare breast, nonchalantly breast-fed on a video, and then announced that she would nurse live and in person at an upcoming event meant to promote “health awareness for our queer, kinky, and sex positive communities.”
At the event itself, Young discussed breast health, while other presenters talked about breast cancer, antiretroviral drugs, and safe sex. “It wasn’t a sex party; it was an adult sex-ed class hosted by sex workers,” writes Salon’s Tracy Clark-Florey.
Furry Girl, an actress in vegan porn, tweeted that context is at the root of her argument, though she no longer wants to comment on the debacle. Meanwhile, Young returned to social media in hopes of ending the Twitter mommy sex wars: “The only one sexualizing this image of me breastfeeding is you. Which makes me feel truly disgusted and violated.”
